RAVEN/ CROW PEOPLE
THE NEGOTIATORS
THE DUCK’S FLY MOON
SEPTEMBER 23--OCTOBER 20
LIBRA
People born under the DUCKS FLY MOON are the RAVEN/ CROW PEOPLE. They entered their earth time during the first moon of EPINGISHMOGE, The Spirit Keeper of the West and The Father of the Winds. People born during the moons of The West (EPINGISHMOGE),are influenced by the Winds of the West with its animal totem the Grizzly Bear, the plant ally/ totem is Sage (Mshkodewashk), the season is Autumn (Dwaagig), the time of the day is Sunset, and the influencing colours are Blue and Black (Mkadewaa). The powers of EPINGISHMOGE are Strength and Introspection.

RAVEN/ CROW PEOPLE’S specific totems/ allies associated with their birth moon The Duck’s Fly Moon are-- plant ally/ totem is MULLEIN. Their mineral ally/ totem is RED (BLOODSTONE) JASPER.
They have an affinity to the colour BROWN. They are members of the ELEMENTAL CLAN of the BUTTERFLY (Element of Air). Raven/ Crow people are compatible with Elk/ Owl, Deer, and Sturgeon/ Salmon people. They compliment Red Hawk/ Falcon people who are opposite them on the Medicine Wheel. Like the Raven and Crow these people are group orientated and do not like their own company for long. They are very much concerned with the welfare of others. Raven/ Crow people are great communicators, who enjoy conversation for it’s own sake. They are friendly and comfortable in most situations, and can help others feel at ease. They are somewhat of a trickster, and have to ensure their antics do not backfire on themselves. They need to make important decisions in a timely and decisive manner, and not to change their minds so quickly and easily. They are constantly trying to find the correct balance in their lives and will often go to extremes to find the mid-point of balance to bring greater harmony into their lives.

Grandfather Peter's Prayer for Today

GRANDFATHER'S PRAYER FOR TODAY.
My Creator, may I always remember, when I cannot find the right words to pray with. All I have to do is look to those who have gone before.
Thank you my Creator for the wisdom of the ancestors!
And may I never forget to PRAY!
A Navajo Grandfather's Prayer
Oh, Great Creator of all that lies before me, I am grateful you have travelled through life with me. Please continue to help me. I wish to follow in your way. I wish to be true to your direction. I wish to travel the road of new life, health and peace. For I know many gifts come to those who follow this road. I am humbled you have not let me travel the lonely roads alone. You have comforted my hurts and problems. Bless my mind this day to be clear and to be able to see things as they truly are. Let my soul be open to your influence. Help me, today to comprehend Mother Earth and the things upon her. Let these things teach me. As I have walked this road, each day has been brighter. As you have asked of me, I will believe, have faith, and look for the things you have for me. And with these things I will bless the lives of my children, grandchildren, my brothers, my sisters, and all my relations.

Grandfather Peter's Prayer for Today

GRANDFATHER'S PRAYER FOR TODAY.
My Creator, Help me today to find the true meaning of “Walking in Balance”

.THE LAW OF BALANCE.
(Finding a middle way).
“To Walk in Balance” is an old Native American saying. Balance applies to our Body, Mind, Emotions and Spirit and to all levels of our being.
Anything we do, we can underdo or overdo. Our Earth walk can be likened to a pendulum. If our actions or habits swing too far to one side they will inevitably swing an equal amount to the other side. The key is to try to keep the swings either way to a minimum, to find the middle way, “To Walk in Balance”
To find the middle way, the balance point, can be a daunting task, but it must start with action. We can never find a true balance point for ourselves unless we are first willing to take a step forward. “To Walk” first requires us to take a step of faith in anything we do. We will inevitably make mistakes, but this is part of the learning and experience process. But more important in learning, we gain understanding.
A warrior learnt to fire his arrow on target by first making an attempt to hit the target. He would almost certainly be short, too long, or one side or the other of the target. His next attempt would probably be an over correction. But with practise he would learn and hit the target. Isn’t our lives much like that? With practise and experience we learn. Then we can be closer to our personal truths and really learn the meaning of “To Walk in Balance” and to “Walk our Talk”.

Grandfather Peter's Prayer for Today

GRANDFATHER'S PRAYER FOR TODAY.
May we always remember that to pray together for a common cause is stronger than praying alone! Help us today to pray together for healing for those in need.
To be bound together for a common purpose, whether it is as a family, group, community, or species ensures the survival of the purpose if it is within the law. There are many examples of this. One arrow on its own can easily be broken but several bound together cannot. The United Nations working in unison is another and a classic example of "One heart, one mind, within the law".
When we act with like-minded individuals as a group to pray, manifest, or even to create degrees of control, which we define as evil or black magic, it has an effect. It has to be balanced with greater force praying for the good.
Where the efforts of an individual may equal one unit, the efforts of two praying or healing for a common goal with equal energy will affect the energy of twenty units instead of the sum total of two. With three, the resultant energy explodes further. The longer pure thought (the exclusion of any other thought) of one's desired goal is held in the mind, the more powerful the result. Holding pure thought for an increment in time is the beginning lesson of manifestation.
The controlling regimes of the past and even now use the rallying cry of "To divide is to conquer", for they know the strength of group endeavour. If we are to counteract this we could do no worse than use "The brotherhood of man", as our rallying cry. Not only must mankind fulfil love for the family, community and nation, he must think in wider terms of humanity itself, and so bring the law of Brotherhood into expression.
"Will your actions today benefit all,For brotherhood is a group quality, or will someone or the group suffer or be hurt because of your actions"
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Note. This statement reminds me of the power of the people in Egypt today.
